eFoil delivered to your yacht in Ibiza

The best eFoil session in Ibiza does not start on a beach. It starts at anchor, in water

nobody is swimming in, with no walk, no queue and no crowd to dodge.

If you have a boat for the day or the week, this is how it works.

Why the boat version is better

No swimmers. The single biggest constraint on a beach session in August is people. An

eFoil rides on a mast about 70cm under the board with sharp edges on it, so we keep a wide

margin from anyone in the water. At anchor off a quiet cove, that problem disappears and

you get the whole bay.

Flat water on demand. From a boat you can move. If the embat fills in from the

south-west and the anchorage gets ruffled, you reposition into the lee and carry on. On a

beach you are stuck with whatever the wind gives you.

Deep water to fall into. Beginners learn faster over deep water, oddly, because there is

nothing to be nervous about underneath them.

How the delivery works

1. Send us a pin and a time on WhatsApp — anchorage, or marina berth.
2. We arrive by tender with the boards, batteries, wetsuits and vests.
3. The instructor stays with you for the session, in the water, the whole time.
4. We take everything away again.

There is no setup on your deck and nothing left behind. Boards do not come aboard unless you

want them to.

Timing and battery reality

Worth planning around: **an eFoil battery gives roughly two hours of riding and needs about

two hours to charge.** For a day on the boat with several people wanting a go, tell us the

group size in advance and we bring enough batteries. Otherwise you get a strong first

session and a flat afternoon.

The other timing point is light. Between 11am and 5pm most anchorages around Ibiza fill

with day boats and the water goes lumpy from wake. **Early morning and the two hours before

sunset are consistently the best riding of the day**, and they are also when the light is

worth filming in.

Where this works best

Around Ibiza — the west coast coves hold flat water in the afternoon, and the water

under you at Cala Comte and Cala Bassa is clear enough to see the bottom while you fly over

it.

Formentera — the sandbanks around S'Espalmador are the flattest, clearest water in

the Balearics and the best place to learn anywhere on either island. Waist-deep, warm,

What the crew should know

• We need 10–15 metres of clear water off the stern or swim platform to work in
• The tender should stay clear while a rider is up — wake from your own boat is the most

common cause of a fall

• Riders need to be sober. We will not take anyone out otherwise, and it is easier if

the crew knows that before lunch is served

• If you are moving between anchorages, tell us — we would rather follow you than have you

wait

Charter guests and brokers

If you run charters, this is a straightforward add-on that guests remember. We work with

brokers and crew on a referral basis, and we will invoice the boat rather than chase

individual guests. Message us and we will set it up properly rather than doing it ad hoc on

the day.

How much notice do you need for yacht delivery?

Same day is usually possible in the morning for an afternoon slot, but sunset sessions in

August book out. Two days is comfortable, a week is safe.

Can we eFoil while the boat is moving?

No. The boat is at anchor or drifting with the engine off while a rider is up. It is not a

towed sport — the board has its own motor.

How many people can ride from one boat?

As many as you like across a session, one at a time with the instructor. Group size drives

how many batteries we bring, so tell us the number when you book.

Do you deliver to Formentera?

Yes, and it is arguably the better location. Tell us the anchorage — S'Espalmador and the

sandbanks north of it are the flattest water we ride.
